2004 Appalachia Mission Trip - Day 5
Day 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | Home
Wednesday is the day at Appalachia that the Youth, Kids and Leaders all find that they may be a little tired or they may have things on their minds. You could tell it was Wednesday from the start today as we had a little fall off in attendance and we had to reach out a little harder even in the pick up of the kids. Even so it was another great day for the VBS. The Youth continue to do a great job with the kids.
Last night's worship focused on the three Cs. God has called us according to his purpose, God comforts us and God has commanded us to be courageous.
Tonight's worship, which was still based on the book of Joshua offered the three Ps. Taken from Chapter 2 and the story of Rahab, Andrew spoke on the confidence in God's purpose, God's plan and God's promises. Where is your confidence, your hope and your faith. Are you confident in the purpose God has for your life? Are you confident in God's plan? Are you confident in God's promises?
We continue to seek His guidance at this mission and we continue to need your prayers. Please pray for the kids especially tomorrow, as Thursday is the day the Gospel message is delivered to them. Pray that the Youth and Leaders will be guided by the Spirit in delivery of the message and that it may touch the hearts of all those attending the VBS.
