Wednesday Night Study – Beginning Wednesday, January 20 @ 7:00 pm immediately after our supper – a time of sharing and learning together what the Holy Spirit teaches us from His Word about Prayer: Specifically about The Lord’s Prayer – Grant Detweiler will be leading us in a 6-7 week study. Come for supper and stay for the blessing of fellowship and study of His Word.

Circle of Light will meet Thursday, January 21^st @ 10:00 am.

Their new study is: Relationship Principles of Jesus.

Provisional Session Meeting Thursday night, January 21, @ 7:00 pm.

Fellowship Committee team leaders will meet next Wednesday night, January 27, at 5:00 pm.

Christian Education Committee Meeting – Sunday, January 31, 2010 immediately following Sunday School. Lunch will be provided!

We Need Volunteers: See Rick Stikeleather or Billie Hoffman if you would be willing to serve as a Greeter or Worship Attendant on Sunday mornings. Families would be welcome to volunteer as a group, couples or individuals.

Peru Mission Trip: Kate Couch, senior at Southlake Christian Academy, is going on a senior trip to Peru for missions work. The seniors will be making bricks that will help build homes & school houses for Peruvian people. Help support Kate’s trip by donating to travel expenses with a check made out to Southlake Christian Academy. On Wednesday night, January 27, all contributions for the meal will go toward Kate’s mission trip.

WORSHIP SUGGESTION BOX is located on the bookcase in the fellowship room. Paper slips are there for your use. You can also just write your comments on a plain slip of paper & drop it in the offering plate; the ushers will see that it gets in the suggestion box. Some really good suggestions have been made & some implemented. Remember, any suggestion or comment regarding our worship service is appreciated.

The Testify Choral group expresses appreciation for Lakeside letting them use our Sanctuary for the past year. They will no longer be practicing at Lakeside.
