Our Pastor
Rev.
Joseph Njaman Alghrary
Pastor Joseph was born in Charlotte, NC
to an Iraqi
father. Joseph’s father’s family is a tribe of 300,000 Moslems most of
whom are still in Iraq today. His Father was a member of the Baath Party
and knew Saddam Hussein.
Joseph was raised as a
Christian and came to Faith at an early age. He answered the call to the
pulpit ministry and completed his Master of Divinity at Southern
Evangelical Seminary with a concentration in Islamic Studies. After
graduating seminary in 2005 Joseph was ordained as a Minister of the
Gospel in the Associate Reformed Presbyterian (ARP) Church and was
called to be a missionary to Moslems in North America
For the last five
years he has worked with a ministry of the ARP Church called ARPConnect.
In 2007 Joseph sensed the need to attain fluency in the Arabic language
and to take his ministry of preaching and teaching to a greater
audience. After much prayer Joseph and his family moved from NC to
Michigan. There they worked with several different Ministries in
Dearborn, MI to help reach the 250,000 Moslems in that area for Christ.
Pastor Joseph has
spoken in well over 100 Churches sharing the Gospel Message along with
the need for discipleship, evangelism and missions. He has also preached
this message all over the world through the internet and satellite TV.
Now Joseph has
returned to his native North Carolina to Pastor the Lakeside Fellowship
Congregation. Joseph plans on bringing what he has learned on the
mission field back to the Church. His prayer is for revival of the
American Church and a restoration of the Church to its rightful place as
the lighthouse of morality and hope for America.
