Believing Prayer

Day 17 - March 23

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. —Hebrews 11:6

We need to pray believing God. Ephesians 5:20 says, “Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine according to His power that is at work within us….” Do you really believe He is able to do those things that you ask? Remember, “thou art coming to a King, large petitions with you bring; for His grace and power are such, none can ever ask too much.”

Without faith it is impossible to please God. In 2 Kings there was a little slave girl who knew that there was a God in Israel . “I wish that my master were with the prophet who is in Samaria ! Then he would cure him of his leprosy.” That was faith. And so he went and was healed of his leprosy, and ultimately he went back to the man of God and stood there and said, “Now I know that there is no God in all the world except in Israel .” Do you really believe God?

Some of you are in situations where things are very, very difficult, and God wants you to pray to Him, to trust Him. You need to believe that God will provide a way and trust Him with the end results.
